This Central Intelligence Agency dossier on Cuban exile leader Manuel Ray Rivero was released in 2023 under the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Act. It contains biographical sketches of Ray as Castro's Minister of Public Works and later leader of the MRP and JURE, a 1965 report on his views of anti-Castro tactics, a Spanish report on his 1965 Madrid visit, and 1977 cables answering an FBI request. Those cables note he was declared persona non grata in Jamaica in December 1976.

On 2 April 1965, a felony complaint was filed by the California State Department of Justice against Juan Iracorba Erquiaqa and Lowell Knudson of the Erquiaqa Arms Company accusing them of: a) possession of machine guns and offering them for sale, b) possession of silencers for machine guns. Knudson appeared for arraignment on this date with counsel and was released on his own recognition. Erquiaqa was not present and also on this date, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The case is scheduled to be tried in the Superior Court of Los Angeles on 14 June 1965. 2. The background to the above is that on 29 March 1965, California State and U.S. Treasury agents, on instructions from California State Attorney General Thomas Lynch raided the Erquiape Arms Company at 15036 Proctor Avenue, City of Industry, California seizing 373 machine guns and some silencers. The raid was ordered by Lynch because the firm did not have a state license authorizing the manufacture, sale and transport of machine guns. 3.
