This Central Intelligence Agency dossier on Cuban exile leader Manuel Ray Rivero was released in 2023 under the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Act. It contains biographical sketches of Ray as Castro's Minister of Public Works and later leader of the MRP and JURE, a 1965 report on his views of anti-Castro tactics, a Spanish report on his 1965 Madrid visit, and 1977 cables answering an FBI request. Those cables note he was declared persona non grata in Jamaica in December 1976.

Subject: Case 45486 - Erquiage Arms Company

Ref : (a) LA-384-65, same subject, dtd 4 May 63

1. One day last week [v/e 22 May 65] in a chance encounter between (George) Patrick Coleman (ref. b) and Gene Price, old friends, the latter volunteered his suspicion that CIA was involved here somewhere. Price added, however, that if he had known this to be true, he would have held off the raid long enough for subject to remove the gune.

2. Price, a green beret (Special Forces) reserve Major, doesn't like the idea of interfering with anyone planning to shoot Castro. Apparently Price and Mosk are not ideologically close.

3. we will check Superior Court on or after 14 June and see to whom Case 303253 has been assigned.
