These are the minutes of a Board of Directors meeting of a pilots association affiliated with the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Associations. The meeting was held in Bangkok on October 2 and 3, 1971, and the CIA released the minutes in 2023. The board discussed labor matters: pilot seniority and furloughs, grievances including the Bailey, Stuart and Stensloff cases, excessive flight time, message restrictions at Udorn, the wage price freeze and constitutional revisions. The document does not mention UFOs.

It isobviously the intent that this paragraph eovers.only the assignmentof pilots out of seniority. it was never the intent that thisparajraph on exceptions to bidding and upgrading would also applyto sec 12 Displacement & Furlough.

The Association has tried repeatedly to convince managementthat these assignments of very junior and in some cases poorly quali-fied ilots is not in the Company's or the ASSOClQtlOn'S interests.P
The recent assurance that this will no longer be condoned, and qua-lifications and seniority will govern these assignments in thefuture, now loses it's objectivity when the old inequities are com-pounded, and senior pilots are to be furloughcd around the favoredjunior special poject pilots.
