This is a Central Intelligence Agency transcription of an unclassified Moscow Interfax report in English, dated 5 August 1991. It says that, according to the Norutium Service news agency, a UFO landed in a mountain pass near Atsavan village, 12 to 15 km from Yerevan, at about 21:30 local time on 4 August. Eyewitnesses said the object stayed there until 3 a.m. with its lights twinkling while it changed shape. Nobody dared to approach it.
