It mostly covers the 73rd anniversary of the October Revolution, the Persian Gulf crisis, unrest in Moldova and the draft union treaty. It also logs reports on Germany, Afghanistan, Cambodia and the Soviet economy. One entry notes a report on a new almanac of UFOs that had just come off the press in Moscow.
