This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated 25 February 1955 and signed by R. Norriek, Deputy Chief, went from the Support Staff to the Chief of the Contact Division. It says a source has a wire recording of an unidentified electrical transduction of unknown origin. It asks the Office of Operations to try to get the recording so the Office can investigate it. The recording was to be sent through Support Staff/SI to the Physics and Electronics Division/SI.

The collector's attention is invited to examine the recording which is attached here for details relating to this incident. 2. It is requested that the Office of Operations attempt to obtain this recording for an investigation by this Office. 3.
