This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum was prepared for the Deputy Director/Intelligence and dated 23 July 1952. It comes from the Acting Assistant Director for Scientific Intelligence. It reports that many visual sightings of unidentified objects have come in over the past several weeks. The office has reviewed such reports for three years, and a special study group has now been formed to review the subject. A report is expected about 25 August. The copy is partly illegible and was approved for release in 2010.
