This is a letter dated 5 April 1961 from Philip G. Strong, Deputy Assistant Director at the Central Intelligence Agency, to Robert J. Palmer, Research Editor of The Americana Institute in New York. It answers Palmer's query of 21 February. The letter says that all government responsibility for Unidentified Flying Objects has been assigned to the Air Force. It also says the agency cannot give him any specific help on the subject.
