This is a letter dated 13 December 1960 from John S. Warner, CIA Legislative Counsel, to Coral Lorenzen, International Director of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization in Tucson, Arizona. Warner says the CIA passed her letter and its enclosure to Lt. Colonel Lawrence Tacker of the U.S. Air Force, the Agency's contact point for unidentified aerial phenomena. He also corrects a typing error in the CIA's earlier letter to Congressman Scherer.

Colonel Lawrence Tacker, U. S. Air Force, who is our contact point and responsible for matters regarding unidentified aerial phenomena. Concerning the last sentence of our letter to Congressman Scherer, there was a typing error in which a word was omitted; the last clause should have read, "which has already been provided by the Air Force."
