This Central Intelligence Agency cover letter is dated 20 December 1957. Philip G. Strong, Deputy Assistant Director, wrote it to Dr. Luis V. Alvarez at the University of California, Berkeley. Strong refers to an earlier conversation with Alvarez about Unidentified Flying Objects. He encloses a copy of a letter to the Air Force and the declassified version of the Panel Report. The letter lists these two items as attachments and has no findings of its own.
