This is a Central Intelligence Agency letter dated 9 to 10 May 1957 from J. Arnold Shaw, Assistant to the Director, to Mr. Leon Davison of White Plains, New York. Shaw writes on behalf of Mr. Dulles to answer Davison's letter of April 21. The letter says the tape Davison mentioned was analyzed by another government agency, and that Davison will hear directly from that agency about the nature of the recording. The document was approved for release in 1975.
