This Central Intelligence Agency file pairs a letter dated 28 January 1953 from H. Marshall Chadwell to H. P. Robertson of the California Institute of Technology with Robertson's own letter of 20 January 1953. Chadwell says a copy of the Panel report, lists of personnel and the evidence received are being forwarded to Robertson, and that the report is going up the chain with his office's concurrence. Robertson's letter says he hopes the report will take care of the Forteans for a while and proposes dates for a possible rump Panel meeting.

A copy of the Penel report, lists of personnel concerned and evidence received are being forwarded to you via another channel. The report is on its way up the ladder with our concurrence and conclusions and recommendations. I do not believe that a rump Panel meeting will be indicated next week. However, we shall hope to see you Friday afternoon, 6 February, to bring you up to date on official action. Fred's memo has been delayed in completion but will be available at that time.
