This is a routine Central Intelligence Agency cable dated 20 August 1957 and marked as a closed case. It says that, after a conversation with ATIC, the sender told the office of the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) that Davidson would receive a reply. The cable asks whether the recipient got a copy of the letter to Davidson or was told it had been written. The sender wants to close the matter knowing for sure that the letter was sent.
