This Central Intelligence Agency release gathers financial records for MKULTRA Subproject 52, with dates running from 1955 to 1964. It includes invoices, certifications, vouchers, receipts, bank statements and expense notebooks for a chemical consultant who was paid to procure and prepare specified chemicals for TSD/BB. The project records describe novel chemicals that could not be obtained through normal channels, among them tetrahydroacridine, dimethyltryptamine and 4-hydroxytryptophan. The documents contain no UFO material.

MEMORANDUM FOR: CHEXF, FINANCE DIVISION VLA : TBS/Budget Officer SUBJECT : MOULTRA Subproject 52, Invoice #1 Allotment 6-2502-10-001 1. Invoice f1 is attached covering the above subproject. Payment should be made as follows: Two cashier's checks, payable to the one check in the amount of $2,000.00, drawn on a second bank, and the second check for $60.00, drawn on a third bank. 2. Both checks should be forwarded to Chief, TBS/Chomical Division, through TGS/Budget Officer, no later than 25 October 1955. 3. This invoice represents the total amount ($2,080.00) currently authorized under Subproject 52. However, since it is anticipated that additional FY 56 funds will be obligated under this subproject, the files of Subproject 52 should not be closed.
