This Central Intelligence Agency file gathers 11 documents on MKULTRA Subproject 115, dated from 1960 onward. It holds invoice checklists, funding authorizations, payment memoranda signed for the TSD/Research Branch, an expenditure accounting, and a research proposal. The subproject funded a one-year study of the interaction between the mentally disturbed and their environment, costing about $4,085. The stated Agency interest was insight into factors influencing human behavior, and the researchers were to remain unwitting of the sponsor. None of the material concerns UFOs.

## CERTIFICATIONS (1) It is hereby certified that this is Invoice No. 1 applying to Subproject 115 of MKULTRA, that performance is satisfactory, that services are being accomplished in accordance with mutual agreements, that a detailed agenda of the payments and receipts is on file in TSD/K3, that this bill is just and correct and that payment thereof has not yet been made. Deputy Chief, LSD/Research Branch Date: (2) It is hereby certified that this invoice applies to Subproject No. 115 of MUJAMA which was duly approved, and that the project is being carried out in accordance with the memorandum of 13 April 1953 from the DCI to the DD/A, and the extension of this authority in subsequent memoranda.
