Two reported cases were examined at Falcon Mountain, California, in October 1949, when comic ray counters went "off scale for a few seconds", apparently while a "7" of flying cautions was observed virtually and two, a series of observations by the Los Alamos Bird Watchers Association, from August 1950 to January 1951, when comic ray coincidence counters behaved quiescent. Circuit diagrams and records were available for the letter, and Dr. Alvarez was able quickly to point out that the recorded data were unhoubility due to instrumental efforts that would have been recognized as such by more experienced observers.

The organization that radioactive objects were correlated with identified flying objects in these two cases was, therefore, rejected by the Panel.
