This undated CIA memo, released later, describes radar reports from a Chief Petty Officer at Patuxent Naval Air Station. On December 19, 1967, between 3:15 and 3:30 P.M., the station made three consecutive radar trackings. One object was estimated to be moving toward the base at 6,000 miles per hour, and another made a 160 degree turn. An FAA station at Salisbury, Maryland had received Coast Guard UFO reports, and the objects' altitudes were estimated at 3,000 to 25,000 feet.

Chief Patty Officer, Patuxent Naval Air Station, picked up on radar 3 consecutive trackings: December 19th 1967 between 3:15 and 3:30 P.M. Initial sighting 2 objects 10 miles apart 2nd sighting picked up on screen 39 miles S.E. of Patuxent Naval Air Station travelir towards base at estimated speed of 6 thousand miles per hour. Lost it off screen abc 10 miles out of Patuxent. 3rd sighting on screen one UFO 8 miles N.E. of Patuxent which made 160° turn and dropped off screen. On saxs date about same time checked with an FAA station at XX Salisbury, Maryland which had picked up messages from U.S. Coast Guard reporting sightings of UFOs.
