This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated January 1965, holds handwritten notes on a radar sighting at Patuxent Naval Air Station. Radar tracked unidentified objects three times on December 19 between 3:15 and 3:30 P.M., including two objects moving toward the base at an estimated 6,000 miles per hour. The notes also record a request to evaluate recent UFO activity by 21 January 1965, and they mention NICAP and a magazine article claiming the Air Force was downplaying the subject.

3 consecutive trackings on Dec 19th between 3:15 & 3:30 P.M. Initial sighting 2 objects 10 miles apart and " picked up 39 mills 58 of Plutus . Royal air Station . Traveling towards base at estimated speed 6 thousand miles per hour . Fort it off screen about 10 miles out of Plutus . 3rd sighting or serum on U.F.O. 8 miles N.E. of Putes. which wall 160° turn & dropped off serum. On same dull about Osam time checked with an FAA station at Solisbury, Md which had picked up messages from U.S. Coast Guard relative to loc respiring sightings of U.F.O.
