This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated June 5, 1957, records an interview with a person whose name is deleted, on the subject of unidentified flying objects. The subject is described as a calm Oakland businessman and WWII intelligence officer. He claimed extrasensory powers, invisible space ships traveling in a fourth dimension, and an encounter during a May 1957 trip to a Yucaipa Valley convention. There, he said, a light landed in the desert. The memo notes that no classified information was given.

Beauty Assistant Director, Collection/ I Interview with on the subject of unidentified flying objects 1. In appearance and actions, in a very average sort of person. He has no prominent features. His height is about 5'9"; weight about 150 - 170 pounds. His complexion is slightly yellow. He was born and raised in the Pacific northwest and spent most of his adult life in the labor business at Oakland, California. He served in WWII as an intelligence officer for the 1974 A. A. Catallion, advancing from private to major. During the interview he was very calm and relaxed at all times and talked with an earnest belief in what he had to say. 2. he has powers of extra sensory perception, brought about by a constituting of the mind, which permit him to see and sense things about him of which others without this power are unaware. He explained that space ships are all about but they travel in a fourth dimension and are invisible unless they do will. People with highly developed senses are permitted to know or be aware of these space ships. The ships are from outer space and are here only for good. He has no fear of their presence at any time. 3. explained that he has the ability to travel in the fourth dimension. This happens when he is asleep. He explained that this is not a creature that his toin body or other body travels. h. About the years ago he had his first encounter with an unidentified flying object. This encounter occurred, as he stated, in the fourth dimension. He stood himself in a strange place which he thought to be miles of the Pacific northwest when the cancer appeared. The cancer stopped base distance away and a screen, similar to a 27 screen, appeared. A total of eleven appeared on the screen, too at a time, speaking in a friendly manner. 5. On May 11 and 12, 1957, who flies his own airplane, flew from Oakland, California, to Yucaipa Valley to attend the peace Coast Conference. On this flight, he reported, they were accompanied on the a different occasion by flying saucers. Fractions of the saucers was determined by one of the airplanes two compasses which always acted strangely when saucers were there.
