This is a Central Intelligence Agency memorandum on the subject "Radio Recording," dated 3 March 1955. It is addressed to the Contact Division's Scientific Branch and copied to the Chief, Support Staff and the Chief, Physics and Electronics Division. It answers a 17 March 1955 enclosure about a case. The memo reports that the enclosed tape recording was analyzed and positively identified as a known signal of U.S. origin. It thanks the source for their cooperation in obtaining the recording.
