This is a cover letter from Philip G. Strong, Deputy Assistant Director at the Central Intelligence Agency, to Dr. Luis V. Alvarez of the University of California at Berkeley. It is dated November 5, 1957, and follows up an earlier conversation the two had about Unidentified Flying Objects. Strong encloses a copy of a letter to the Air Force, which is marked Secret, along with the declassified version of the Panel Report.
