This Central Intelligence Agency document, dated 5 January 1956 and titled Report of Unidentified Flying Objects, reproduces excerpts from a letter received from a Belgian correspondent in early November 1955. The writer asks for prices and delivery information on a small 60x telescope made for sportsmen. They say Americans will not reveal what flying saucers really are, and they want the telescopes for their own observation group. The letter adds that the objects are being seen more and more over Belgium. The OCR text is badly garbled.

In early November 1953 we received a letter from Live, Belgian news, reporting price and delivery information as a short, correct, 60x telegram titled as instructure for sportmen. The following paragraphs are taken from letter: As you hurried do not want to tell us that the so vaguely called 'flying saucers' are, in their full, that they rest (and this may be very important in the future), I used your excellent telescopes for myself and my observation group which I can just creating. The IPO [California Flying Caboose] are circles here and here over this country, and every person to the way nature of this land and its beautiful nights, we here look here often in the city then the body Americans. When talking to the police, please remember that the posting must be almost cross-plated, because otherwise the local vigilance may destroy the talcage even before it reaches no."
