This Central Intelligence Agency cable from Support, dated 2 July 1957 and marked case closed, is a short routine message about a reply owed to someone named Davidson. It says that, based on a conversation with ATIC, the DCI's office had been told Davidson would receive a reply. The cable asks whether the recipient got a copy of the letter to Davidson or was told it had been written. The sender wants to close the matter knowing for certain that the letter was sent.
