This NICAP compilation of US Air Force Project Blue Book records covers the Exeter, New Hampshire sighting of 3 September 1965. It includes the Pease AFB initial report, Eighth Air Force details on the operation "Big Blast" B-47 flights, and letters from Patrolmen Eugene Bertrand and David Hunt disputing the aircraft explanation. There is also correspondence with John G. Fuller and a 1965 Pease AFB request for speakers. Blue Book listed the sighting as unidentified because no aircraft could be placed in the area at 0200.

MENO FOR THE RECORD FROM: Lt Alan Brandt, Director of Information SUBJECT: U.P.O. Sighting DATE: 9 Sep 65 Received call from June Nicholas, wife of Major Nicholas, Resident Auditor, stating that her son had seen an unidentified flying object while in the back seat of the family car on 4 Sept 65 near Nashua, N.H., on Route 101. H-r son, Burke, age 13, a student at Portsmouth Junior High, saw the object after waking from a nap while lying in the back seat of the car. He told his parents about it after "coming to". He said he was too shocked to say anything at the time. He described the object as oval, football-shaped, with red "and other" lights at about 2045 to 2100 hrs. Phoned above information to Maj David Griffin, BDO, and he said he would make no formal report. lean on us forever
