This second volume of a Brazilian military court case file, archived by the Superior Tribunal Militar in 1997, holds the Army's Military Police Inquiry into the book "Incidente em Varginha" by Vitório Pacaccini and Maxs Portes. The file reproduces pages of the book, including the claimed 1962 abduction of soldier Geraldo Bichara at the sergeants' school in Três Corações. The military prosecutor called the claims of a 1996 creature capture untrue but found no crime, and the judge ordered the case archived in July 1997.

Os ufólogos são unânimes em afirmar que as investigações feltas os levaram a concluir que realmente esses seres estranhos apareceram naquela cidade. Inclusive chegaram até a relacionar o aparecido do ET com o fato de um policial do serviço secreto da PM, Marco Eli Cherese, ter morrido alguns dias após a suposta captura. O comandante da EsSA, general Lima, o tenente coronel EsSA Olimpio Wanderley, o major PM Siqueira, o major Maciel e o tenente coronel Mauricio, comandante do 24º Batalhão PM Varginha, são unânimes e categóricos em afirmar que não tiveram qualquer envolvimento com toda história dos ETs.
