This Memorandum for Record from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), dated January 8, 2024, lists AARO's repeated efforts between June 2023 and January 2024 to interview David Grusch for its congressionally directed Historical Record Report. Grusch agreed to an interview on November 14, 2023, but did not appear, and he cited concerns about classified information. AARO concluded he had no intention of providing information. The release also includes email threads, text messages and authorization memoranda from DoD and ODNI.

Attached is that memo from the ODNI CAPCO. Again, I want to reiterate that in accordance with the James M. lnhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, AARO is authorized to receive any information related to UAP regardless of classification, and notwithstanding any nondisclosure agreement you may have signed . Our invitation to discuss possible U.S. Government programs, events, or activities related to UAP still stands.
