This is a case resolution report from the U.S. Department of Defense's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), dated February 6, 2025. It covers the January 2015 "Go Fast" infrared video that a Navy F/A-18F recorded off Florida. AARO worked only from the public video and found the object was at about 13,000 feet, not near the ocean surface, and moved at roughly 5 to 92 mph. The report attributes the apparent high speed to motion parallax and states with high confidence that the object showed no anomalous performance.

Estimated Flight Path of the UAP With the flight path of the F/A-18 for the four wind conditions calculated, the resulting paths of the UAP were found using the same method as in the case without wind. The four resulting paths are plotted in Figure 12. Note than in each case, the UAP is headed in the same general direction as the wind at the altitude of the F/A -18 (7,620 m), which is comparable to the wind direction at the altitude of the UAP (a 10° difference as shown in Figure 10).
