These slides accompanied a presentation by Dr. Jon Kosloski, Director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), to the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities in November 2024. They cover UAP reporting trends from 1996 to October 2024, including altitudes, reported shapes, hotspots and how closed cases were resolved, with balloons making up 75 percent. They also present three case resolutions. AARO found that the 2013 Puerto Rico object and the 2016 GO FAST object showed no anomalous flight characteristics. It assessed that the 2018 Mt. Etna object was a balloon.
