8,000 pages of Declassified Canadian UFO Documents

This Internet Archive upload holds declassified Canadian records sent to the National Research Council's Meteor Centre, which filed them as non-meteoritic sightings. Most are RCAF and Canadian Forces message reports from 1965 on lights and objects seen over Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Cochrane, Whitehorse and other places. The later material dates from 1968. It includes RCMP reports from Shediac and Sydney Mines. The police concluded the Sydney Mines object that hit power lines was probably a meteorite.

UFO SIGHTING REPORT RECEIVED THROUGH TORONTO CENTRE. AT 1801402 MR J BRYERS 49 SCARBOROUGH HEIGHTS TORONTO AN ALDERMAN IN WARD 1 WAS WALKING WITH HIS WIFE NEAR HIS HOME WHEN HE SIGHTED AN OBJECT APPROACHING FROM THE EAST VERY LOW IT WAS RED IN COLOUR, GAINED HEIGHT AND PROGEEDED TO THE SOUTHWEST THEN BROKE IN PIECES. TEN MINUTES LATER HE AGAIN SIGHTED A SIMILIAR OBJECT TO THE SOUTH AND MUCH LOWER. TEN MINUTES LATER HE SIGHTED A SIMILIAR OBJECT TO THE WAST AND WAS REPORTED QUOTE REAL REAL LOW UNQUOTE. THE OBJECT CAME OVER SOME HOUSES AND WAS OBSERVED BY BINOCULARS FOR THREE SECONDS AND WAS SEEN TO BE A BRIGHT OBJECT WITH A DARK CENTRE. NO SOUND WAS REPORTED BT
