8,000 pages of Declassified Canadian UFO Documents

This Internet Archive upload holds declassified Canadian records sent to the National Research Council's Meteor Centre, which filed them as non-meteoritic sightings. Most are RCAF and Canadian Forces message reports from 1965 on lights and objects seen over Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Cochrane, Whitehorse and other places. The later material dates from 1968. It includes RCMP reports from Shediac and Sydney Mines. The police concluded the Sydney Mines object that hit power lines was probably a meteorite.

F. OBJECT RESEMBLED STAR IN SIZE AND REFLECTED A CONSTANT WHITE LIGHT AS DOES A STAR. ALTITUDE UNKNOWN AS SIZE OF OBJECT WAS IN RELATION TO SURROUNDING STARS AND APPEARED TO BE AT SIMILAR ALTITUDE. FIRST OBSERVED LOW IN WESTERN SKY MOVING EAST FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES THEN STOPPED FOR APPROX 30 - 40 SECONDS THEN PROCEEDED DUE SOUTH POR 1 MINUTE STOPPED 30 SECONDS AND THEN REVERSED DIRECTION AND HEADED.
