This Internet Archive upload holds declassified Canadian records sent to the National Research Council's Meteor Centre, which filed them as non-meteoritic sightings. Most are RCAF and Canadian Forces message reports from 1965 on lights and objects seen over Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Cochrane, Whitehorse and other places. The later material dates from 1968. It includes RCMP reports from Shediac and Sydney Mines. The police concluded the Sydney Mines object that hit power lines was probably a meteorite.

# Search for a 'Thing' SAT OCT 7=1967 # Well, what is it, or was it. Canadian Petro SHELBURNE, N.S. Dec. 7 Three navy divers from Halifax were to join the underwater search today off nearby Shag Harbor for an unidentified flying object reported to have disappeared in the water there Wednesday night. (OCT. 43) search, yesterday A navy spokesman said last night the four-man navy diving team already there found no trace of the object during their noun-to-sunset. The divers, marching in pairs, in water 10-80 feet deep, reported good variability and a fine, sandy sea bottom. Mentwidle, in Ontario, a spokesman for an RCAT department that checks out reports of unidentified flying objects said the department was "very interested" in the report from Shug Harbor. "We get hundreds of reports every week," he said. "But the Ring Harbor incident is one of the few where control. A local resident who first saw the object called REMAP who arrived in time to see it floating and finally discover the water. Today, hurricane was hurricane at 8.4 m. The curry-spelmanian and residents could not describe the shape of the object, but said it was over no less odd and was dark with four white lights.
