8,000 pages of Declassified Canadian UFO Documents

This Internet Archive upload holds declassified Canadian records sent to the National Research Council's Meteor Centre, which filed them as non-meteoritic sightings. Most are RCAF and Canadian Forces message reports from 1965 on lights and objects seen over Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Cochrane, Whitehorse and other places. The later material dates from 1968. It includes RCMP reports from Shediac and Sydney Mines. The police concluded the Sydney Mines object that hit power lines was probably a meteorite.

MOVING BUT COMPARISON WITH A MOUSE CHIMNEY SHOWED THAT THE OBJECT WAS MOVING SLOWLY SOUTH TO NORTH. THE OBSERVER REPORTED THAT THE STARS WERE VISIBLE BUT VERY DIM COMPARED TO THE OBJECT. SHAFTS OF LIGHT SEEMED TO EMANATE FROM THE OBJECT AT IRREGULAR INTERVALS. NO SOUND

II S/SGT BARBER DESCRIBED THE OBJECT AS VERY BRIGHT, WHITISH, STATIONARY, AND LOW ON THE WESTERN HORIZON

II CONST GOODHAND DESCRIBED THE OBJECT AS WHITISH WITH A RED TINGE. IT WAS LOV ON THE HORIZON TO THE WEST AT AN ESTIMATED ANGLE OF INCLINATION OF 20 DEGREES. IN RELATION TO A NEARBY CHIMNEY, THE OBJECT WAS MOVING SLOVLY SQUTH TO WORTH
